Asus P4S8X-MX

I have an asus p4s8x-mx motherboard, i have in 2.60GHz processor, i don't know what happen but its running at 1.70gh now and i cant get to change it? can someone please help. it used to run with the full speed, i am not sure if its because i tried a different processor running at 2.40GHz. please help
