Asus Prime B550M-A Wifi II

    Hi,I installed my new Asus Prime B550M-A Wifi II .
    Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 16GB
    and new AMD Ryzen 5 5500 >

    Booting PC gives me black screen,saying no Signal .
    my 2 DVD Drives have power,the Harddrive seems to "turn" .
    on the MoBo i see yellow lights flashing slowly .
    But PC does not start ,even pushing Delete etc.during bootup.
    my present asrock mobo has a 4 pin power connector plug ,so does the PSU.
    The new mobo has a 8 pin power connector plug,could this be the culprit ?
    What can be the problem ?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated .
