Good morning. I have an Asus Prime h670 Plus D4 motherboard with firmware updated to the latest release, the 3601. I wanted to know if any of you have had the opportunity to test its compatibility with some 8TB nvme m2 drives. I was precisely seeing a
WD_BLACK SN850X 8TB. The read and write speed characteristics are identical to those of many other compatible nvmes, even the fact that it is a PCIe Gen4 suggests that it could be fine. However, I don't have the experience to ensure that the firmware can handle an nvme m2 drive of this size.

Among the various HDDs I use for backups I have a 6TB from WD and also a 20TB from Seagate, so for normal flat disks there are no problems.

Are you aware of whether or not there are compatibility issues with an 8TB m2 nvme?

    Greetings.
