Dell Dimension not saving Date

    Hi everyone, I have a little problem here.

    When I turn my computer on, it says the following:

    "invalid configuration information please run setup program"

    now, I noticed that the date on the machine is always reseting to 2003, so I figured that the error its giving me, has something to do with that, so I bought a new CMOS Battery, but it still doesnt remember the date, I change it, save it, and when I re-start, it has again the 2003.......what can be wrong with this?
