    Hello everybody in this forum,

I know this is a very old motherboard made by Asus P/N: Q8G200PA120 for the subject's PC. It always has been a trouble the primary ssd which is soldered on the motherboard. Toying around with the parts that I have switched I have two principal questions.
    - Why when I replace the 16gb SSD that is accessible from the maintenance hatch, if I use a 32gb or bigger ssd or CF adapter to install a 128gb CF or use a mSATA adapter to install a 128gb mSATA ssd, the Physon 4gb ssd dissappears or becomes the slave? the second question is:
    - Is it possible to desolder the 4-1gb Samsung chips and solder in the 4-4gb chips (also Samsung) from the 16gb ssd board? Would I need to exchange the Physon controller as well?

Please advise, your help is greatly appreciated,
