EMachine T1472 CDROM Problem

    Hello, I have a Emachine T-Series 1472 and the problem I have is that I can't get windows to find the CDROM installed. The bios seems to find it, but when windows loads up, its not in the My Computer. Also, in device manager, it has the yellow icon on it like theres a problem. I goto properties under the cdrom and it says "windows failed to load device drivers for this device". Another thing that is weird is, everytime I restart or turn on the computer, the cdrom opens itself and doesnt close. If anyone could help me, please respond!!!

    Information of computer:

    T-Series 1472 with all stock parts that it came with.
    O.S. = Windows XP Home Edition
