when i start up my install a new programme wizard wants to install hsp56 modem. parts of it were installed when i got this computer, but, in the prog files i cannot uninstall whats left, presumably as the last plonker did an incorrect uninstall. the question is, how do i get rid of the remnants and stop this install a new prog comimng up every start up??:eek: well no answer yet, maybe i worded it wrong, but the computer sometimes does not shut down. should i find a site and install the modem, then uninstall and hope then that it uninstalls what i have got on here already? or maybe uninstall the whole lot windows and all then reinstall the windows disc. help help somebody
