Problem with emachine s1940

    Ok i just really was wanting this machine for my mom to check email and stuff i know its not a power house or anything.

    Well first off the power would not come on. So my thoughts were that the power supply so i replaced it the the diablo 250 watt atx.

    Now i can only turn on my computer from the power supply i cant turn it on from the power button in the front. The CPU fan comes on the cd drive seems to be working but it will not put anything on the screen. And i can not turn it on from the switch.

    Also right when i flip the power supply to on it comes on and i can only turn it off the same way.

    Any help is wanted and if you need more information i can do what i can i am no expert on computers.
