Ok guys, this is a good one.
USB BUS shuts down durring Vista Installation.
    GA-7VKMP board, bios ver. F5
Attempting to install Vista. (beta2, RC1, RC2, & RTM) tried the all
as soon as the winpe portion of WinVista setup starts the USB BUS shuts down. (as soon as the initial "windows is starting" graphic screen scroller goes to the Full color [Blue Aero vista] Setup screens)
I've attempted everything I could think of in BIOS, every possible combination of hardware, and YES including set to Default settings.
Reseting & Power cycling does not bring back the USB BUS. ONLY PULLING THE PLUG FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS DOES USB COME BACK [switch on power supply works, also]

I have allowed setup to finish, only to find the USB system no way able to be installed (seems disable at hardware level, not OS level)

Let me know if more Nfo is needed
